By accessing or using Goal Groups ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Goal Groups is a social platform for goal setting, tracking, and achievement. The Service includes:
- Personal and group goal creation and tracking
- Fitness and health metric measurement and analysis
- Task management and habit tracking
- Social features including groups, comments, and achievements
- Progress analytics and leaderboards
- Group invitations and member management
3. User Accounts and Registration
Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service.
4. User Content and Conduct
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you post, including goals, comments, measurements, and other data. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.
Prohibited Content
You agree not to post content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains false or misleading health or fitness information
- Promotes dangerous or unhealthy behaviors
- Contains spam, advertising, or solicitation
- Violates the privacy of others
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, monitor, and remove content that violates these Terms. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so at our discretion.

IMPORTANT: The information provided through Goal Groups is for general informational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice.
Before beginning any fitness program or making health-related decisions based on information from the Service, you should consult with a qualified healthcare professional. The calculated metrics and formulas provided are estimates and should not be considered medical diagnoses.
You acknowledge that any fitness or health activities you undertake are at your own risk, and you should discontinue any activity if you experience pain or discomfort.
6. Group Features and Social Interactions
Group Membership
Group creators and moderators have the right to manage their groups, including inviting or removing members. By joining a group, you agree to abide by any additional rules set by the group administrators.
Privacy Settings
You can control the privacy of your goals and data through your account settings. Private goals are only visible to you and members of groups you choose to share them with.
Interactions with Other Users
You are responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not screen users and are not responsible for the conduct of users on the Service.
7. Data and Measurements
You are responsible for the accuracy of any measurements or data you enter into the Service. We provide calculated metrics based on established formulas, but these are estimates and should not be considered definitive.
We implement security measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure. You should not enter sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for the Service's functionality.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Goal Groups and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Privacy

10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOAL GROUPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Goal Groups and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
13. Changes to Terms

14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Iceland.
